For human beings it is impossible, but not for God.
All things are possible for God.
For human beings it is impossible, but not for God.
All things are possible for God.

Mark 10, 17-30
Go, Sell, Give, Follow. It is a formula for having eternal life as we shall hear next week. We are in the Saint Mark School of Discipleship, and we see one of the brightest, one of the most promising, one of the finest candidates flunk out. By everyone’s standards, he had everything going for him. He had riches. He was young, healthy, talented, and Jesus love him. He never did anything wrong, everyone liked him, and still he’s out, put out by his own choices. Maybe should wonder what it was like for him in later years as an old man, how he might have watched the growing church, heard about the others like Peter, James, and John, and what his regrets may have been. We seem to get a lot of regrets as we get older. I have wondered what he may have told his children or grandchildren about his meeting with Jesus. Surely, they would have asked him once they heard about Christians, asked him if had ever met Jesus or heard him speak. I wonder what he told them and how he felt as he told this story from his perspective. Was it really too much to ask? Go, Sell, Give, Follow.
