Rescue Project 2023

The Rescue Project is a multi-week video series, complete with companion resources for facilitators and participants. It tells the story that is the gospel, offers an opportunity for a Spirit-filled response to what is proclaimed, and catapults us out into the world on mission to go and rescue others. 

We passionately believe that the most urgent task is the compelling proclamation of the gospel, one that not only shares it in an attractive – and concentrated – way, but that also offers people a way of seeing reality, and of making sense of the world, history, and life that is vastly different from the story our modern culture tells.
 

Until this happens, the Christian faith is often experienced as a mere set of rules and disciplines, and simply going to Church isn’t likely to lead a person to embark on the great adventure that is following Jesus and continuing His mission of the rescuing of this world. 
We don’t think most people have ever heard the gospel.

This 9-week series is held on Monday Nights in the Parish Hall from
6:30-8:30pm, beginning October 2, 2023.

El Proyecto de Rescate es una serie de videos de varias semanas, completa con recursos complementarios para facilitadores y participantes. Cuenta la historia que es el evangelio, ofrece una oportunidad para una respuesta llena del Espíritu a lo que se proclama y nos catapulta al mundo en misión de ir y rescatar a otros. 

Creemos apasionadamente que la tarea más urgente es la proclamación convincente del evangelio, una que no solo lo comparta de una manera atractiva y concentrada, sino que también ofrezca a las personas una forma de ver la realidad y de dar sentido al mundo, la historia y la vida que es muy diferente de la historia que cuenta nuestra cultura moderna.

Hasta que esto suceda, la fe cristiana a menudo se experimenta como un mero conjunto de reglas y disciplinas, y simplemente ir a la Iglesia no es probable que lleve a una persona a embarcarse en la gran aventura que es seguir a Jesús y continuar su misión de rescatar a este mundo. 

No creemos que la mayoría de la gente haya escuchado el evangelio.
Esta serie de 9 semanas se lleva a cabo los lunes por la noche en el Salón Parroquial de
6:30-8:30pm, a partir del 2 de octubre de 2023.
