New Safe Environment Training / Re-Training
The Archdiocese has a new Safe Environment online training program, Safe Environment, Safe & Sacred. Every volunteer, staff member, and clergy who has contact with minors or vulnerable adults is required to be trained/re‑retrained on the new program. The training is completely online and you can take the training at home on your computer. If you do not have a computer, the training can be taken on a tablet or smartphone. If you don’t have any of these, don’t worry. We’ll help you, just let us know. Some additional information is on the Archdiocese Website. You can go to https://archokc.org/safe-environment or to review Frequently Asked Questions click (English) (Spanish).
We are currently setting up training for active ministry volunteers. Each ministry volunteer will be contacted by e-mail (or telephone) as to when they can begin their training. The e-mail will have instructions on how to get to your training online and other helpful information. Once you receive your e-mail, please take no more than two weeks to complete your training.
If you need additional information on how and when you can be trained, e-mail Holy Spirit’s Safe Environment Coordinator at email@example.com or check the bulletin under Staff for a phone number.
