Returning Volunteers

Thank you for continuing the Safe Environment Training process to continue serving in ministries at Holy Spirit. Volunteers must complete a safe environment course each August through the Safe & Sacred online system.

Course Sequence

• Year 1 - Recognizing and Preventing Child Abuse
• Year 2 - Professional Boundaries and Behaviors
• Year 3 - Technology Safety
• Year 4 - Protecting the Vulnerable Populations
• Year 5 - Human Trafficking
• After completion of the Year 5 course, volunteers will begin again with the year 1 course and progressing annually through the sequence. Courses will be refreshed with updated information.

Steps to Begin Next Course

1. Login to the Archdiocese Safe Environment Training website at https://archokc.safeenvironment.org/login.
   • If you have forgotten your username or password, contact tech support by clicking the link labeled "Forgotten your username or password?". DO NOT create a new account.
   • If you get an onscreen message as you are logging in saying that your account has been suspended, please contact the Safe Environment Coordinator at [email protected] to get your account reinstated. Accounts are suspended when there is no activity towards completing safe environment training.
2. Complete the new training by clicking the "Take Course" link next to the name of the course you wish to begin. If you have completed all five courses and will be starting the cycle over with the first course, click the "Retake Program" link.
